"Room is small as expected but not laid out well. No under bed storage is a serious deficiency so the only place to lay an open suitcase is in front of the door. Which means moving so I can jump over it to leave the room and moving it back when I want to get into the bathroom. "I loved my stay at this hotel. The location was super convenient, so close to the main shopping district and a 5 minute walk from the trams and buses, or a 20 minute walk to Sakurajima or the train station. The room was comfortable and the hotel offered a lot of amenities, such as extra pillows, a microwave, laundry service, a 'help yourself' style bar for toiletries and teas. There's also a huge collection of manga. The rooms are cleaned every day and you can request not to have it cleaned. If they aren't cleaned, the staff will still leave you clean pyjamas, towels and bin bags for if you need to freshen up your room. The hotel kindly merged my separate stays into one so I didn't have to change rooms."
