"This is an amazing place to stay. My Wife and I stayed here when we visited Hakodate 2 years ago and we couldn’t wait to return. Every single member of the staff is kind, hard working, and helpful, they’re top notch all around. The room was very comfortable and the private onsen for our room was really relaxing. If you do a little walking there are also places to go to eat and even a great little brewery called Endeavour pretty close by. We can’t wait to stay here again the next time we’re in...

"It’s a old ryokan passed it prime time. It’s basically not bad, but is old and run down. Maybe the Covid period made it worse as the condition of the ryokan deteriorated further without upgrades. Service is good. Far away from city center but there’s shuttle bus."

"Huge room. Very very clean. And it so great I booked a room with private Onsen bath. Staff were extremely polite. Just the buffet dinner was good but under what I expected. Great stay"

"I literally do not have the ability to accurately express how AMAZING, our stay was. The staff could not have been more professional. The Onsen, could not have been more relaxing, both the private and public ones. The place was spotless as well. It may have been the nicest, fanciest, ritziest place I’ve ever been. "When booking, no choice for smoking or nonsmoking, so I assumed default as nonsmoking. When arrived, I realized that all are smoking. Front desk staff do not speak even simply English. Difficult to communicate with Hotel staff. Carpet in elevator must haven’t been shampooed for attended time - the dirtiest one I personally experienced in Japan.
