"This was a hidden gem. Unfortunately, Hotels.com and the lodge's website weren't particularly transparent about dog pricing. (It's nowhere on Hotels.com, and you have to pretend to make a reservation AND pretend to pay before the rates will show on the lodge's website.) The stay wound up costing us more than we expected. That being said, it was a lovely lodge and the staff were super gracious and welcoming. It would be nice if the doors had peepholes, but unlike the other reviewer, we had...

"Yachats was good. Big storm rolling throughout our stay so we hunkered down, played games, and enjoyed this lovely place. Store and restaurant and coffee shops within walking distance. The view was spectacular. Watching the storm for our 3 days days was dramatic but we felt safe and sound. Coming from Alaska and Montana my family of 8 enjoyed it very much. "

"Upon arrival to this quaint house we were happy to be able to park right in the property. Easy access into the house and we were greeted with a clean, nice smelling home. The kitchen was upgraded and information about the rules and property were easy to find. Rooms were lovely. The view was so stunning it took our breath away. What a beautiful home. It created amazing memories!!"
