"2家族でお世話になりました。食べきれないほどの凝ったお料理、露天風呂、細やかなサービス、スタッフの方の対応など素晴らしかったです。ウェルカムドリンクサービスは素敵なバーカウンターででお抹茶をいただき、初めての経験でした。子供がちょっと食べ過ぎて、体調不良だったのですが、嫌な顔ひとつせず対応して下さり感謝しています。ありがとうございました。機会が、あればまた訪れたい宿です。どうもありがとうございました。 "

"Our stay was unique and our hosts were hospitable and warm. A family run ryokan. The kaiseki dinner was also aesthetically pleasing and delish! Our chalet was very private and set in the midst of the woods. It had a private bath and bedrock sauna that looked out into the maple trees and bamboo trees. Great for relaxing after climbing Mt Aso!"

"the host yoshimi is nice and easygoing person,and her dog DEN is so cute to inviting guests by biting a slipper. I felt so grateful that Yoshimi picked my friend and me up at train station on check-in day and took us to station om check-out day."

"The entrance of the hotel might be a little difficult to people who drive to there because the entrance lane is really narrow and small. If you drive there, do not arrive before sunset or it's totally dark during the lane. Guest rooms are pet friendly therefore it might remain some smells of pets (for people who dislike animals), you should consider it carefully or you might be uncomfortable all the night even though it smells not too strong. "We booked the hotel the day of the trip as we had change plans due to Typhoon Haishen. When we entrance to the hotel was blocked with a rope and they did not answer the phone. There was noone to get any information, we did not get a cancellation or a notification. We were left in the typhoon with nowhere to go and struggled to find anything for hours during when the weather got really bad. "Very special property that we loved. We stayed in January and esp loved the onsen and subfloor heating. Check in was easy enough because there was the option of online pre-registration. The road to the house was windy but not too bad - note that the GPS in the rental car may not show you the way. We used Google maps and got there without difficulty. We were thankful to have a 4WD and snow tires, because there was ice on parts of the road. Highly recommend the place!"
