Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through...

"We found this to be a wonderful rental and we would stay there again happily. It felt like home and is tastefully decorated. The setting is quiet and ideally located for exploring the village on foot and for driving to beaches and historical attractions in the area as well as larger neighboring towns. "wer wirkliche Ruhe sucht ist in diesem Haus genau richtig ! abseits vom Trubel und doch nur 5 min. von Strand und vielen Tavernen entfernt ! die Dachterrasse lädt zum Frühstück mit Meerblick ein oder aber einfach nur inmitten von Olivenbäumen, Schafen und Ziegen zu entspannen ! wir haben es sehr genossen hier Urlaub zu machen und wir kommen sicher wieder ! "Set in private garden but within 5 mins walk of shops/café/restaurant this is a lovely property. About 1hour from the airport but in a rural environment it is within 10 mins of beaches and a lot of fascinating archaeological sites and within easy driving distance of many amazing mountain villages. You really need a car but all the local people we met and talked to were lovely and helpful. Ripe grapes over the carport,great selection of herbs in the garden I can't fault it, Shan and Steve Burston...

"Arrived at the residence with a heartwarming welcome. We booked residence for approx one month. Off the balcony, you have amazing views both day and night looking over Venerato village. enough due to the circumstances. Residence is a 15 min walk into Venerato which was perfect for us as we have relatives and close friends living in the Venerato. A 5 min drive if your driving through. During our stay, we’ve occurred issues with the air conditioning. Listing stated that they have air conditioning...
