"Our extended family celebrated grandpa’s 70th birthday with a group of 12 ages 3 to 70. We all had a great time! The house was perfect with room for everyone. The indoor pool and hot tub were ready for us when we got there. They were a huge hit. There are plenty of pool toys available. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for a large group. We brought precooked dinners with us. There are also two gas grills outside. The house is in a remote location, but there is an IGA 10...

"Found the lodge to be exactly as advertised. I appreciated the cleanliness of the spaces both inside and outside showing the owner’s care. Whether for a personal retreat or a family vacation I would recommend the lodge. I’ll be back!"

"Hosts and house are great. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There is a large wonderful yard with a fire pit and great big decks in the front and back of house. They have another property nearby that is super nice too. Very serene and peaceful area. We saw a mama deer and her fawn hanging right out on the lawn."

"The property was in a beautiful location! It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Even though the property was off the beaten path, there was a lot to do within 15-30 min drive. The host made great suggestions of what to see in the area! I would definitely stay at this property again. Maybe during the summer months to enjoy the lake a bit more, but I have no complaints!"

"My sister and my two children stayed and had the best time. It’s such a neat spot with great views. We loved the porch and eating outdoors. It was super warm this week and we appreciated the A/C as many old EM homes don’t have any. The low ceilings and original wood plank flooring is gorgeous! And the old photos have so much history. They really thought of everything and we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return"

We were lucky with some mild weather on Christmas day which allowed us some time outdoors, but I can imagine how nice the outside area must be during the warmer months. Microwave carousel not working Rodent infestation - mice droppings everywhere. Broken handle for shower Overpriced for what you're getting. Furniture was rundown. Landline didn't work."
