"This house is roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the area. There were six of us. Location is good for visiting World's End State Park and local hiking. We chose not to purchase a temporary membership in Eagles Mere Association. (For our weekend stay, the Association quoted us a $70 fee in order to use facilities. "This property is new and clean. We were happy with the flexibility of the host and the comfort of the home. The only downside, as others have mentioned, was the nasty sulfur smell of the water. It also has a slimy feel. If you can get past that, the place is perfect! Rich is responsive to questions and was flexible with our needs as we were bringing a baby for the holiday weekend. . "

"We had an amazing stay at Thorne Hill! George was so accommodating and accessible. The property is amazing and the home has such charm and character. We loved cooking in the Kitchen with the fire going in the huge fireplace in the Family room. We even had snow so the kids could enjoy some sledding! "

"Huckle Chuckle is the perfect cottage for a relaxing stay in Eagles Mere with family. The house is large enough to fit many family members with comfortable and beautiful communal areas to get together. We loved sitting on the porch together overlooking the lake and being a quick walk from the beach. "

"Great clean cabin in the woods. We are very familiar with the area we had a cabin 20 minutes away from this one for many years but sold a few years back. This cabin is very peaceful. Was snowing when we arrived it was picture perfect scenery!!!!! Had a campfire outside. Was created with a bottle of wine and warm cabin…. "We spent Christmas at this wonderful home in rural Pennsylvania, and it was perfect for our family. With 8 adults, 6 kids, and a dog, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet the common spaces were spacious enough for us to all gather together comfortably.
