"What an amazing place to stay reasonable priced and the owner made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. I cannot recommend this place enough it was clean tidy fresh the breakfast was amazing. The bed was wow I’ve not slept so well in years and my partner Thought it was just perfect too. Will definitely be staying again soon hopefully thank you Martin. "

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and pleasant with plenty of wardrobe / drawer space. The bed was really comfortable and the room was warm as the heating was on. I would have scored 100% but for a small leak on the shower cubicle bottom seal and the shaver/mirror light wouldn't work - nit picking really but shows this review is honest. Even so, overall far better than could be expected for the price."

"Very clean cosy and quiet "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "
