"Very happy with their Silkara Suites’ service. Check in/out was smooth and we also requested for slippers, which was delivered to our room quickly. One of the shower heads was leaking and couldn’t be used. We called the front desk and they replaced the shower head for us. Everything happened within 15 min and was impressed. Room and bathrooms were tidy and clean. The only thing that could have made it a better stay is probably being offered a room on a higher floor due to the noise. We stayed on level 1 and the garbage trucks were busy doing their thing overnight, which woke me a couple of times. Then there were people talking loudly on the streets early in the morning, which woke me up. I would probably have to remember to request to stay on a higher level myself next time."

"The location is excellent as it was only a few minute's walk to the Macquarie Hospital for the specailist consultation. Macquarie Shopping centre is also within walking distance."

"This is a very unique building across the street from the beach and has a lot of pubs and activities. I would only recommend rooms with windows, our room had 2 balconies with a great view of the water and of the pedestrian avenue. "
