"A great cabin on the lake; a really nice spot for many things - fishing, bird watching, leaf peeping. It is a bit of a steep walk down to the lake with steps, but worth it. Tons of great things to do in the area - state parks, shopping, restaurants, access to many lakes in the area etc... The cabin is set up very nicely with everything you would expect for cooking (except no grill), hanging out, and sleeping. It is very cute and comfortable. They are pet-friendly, which is nice to find, but it is not fenced. There are neighbors nearby on both sides and a small dock & deck on the lake. The deck at the cabin itself is a great spot. The owner is not in the area, but did stay in close contact with me by text, and quickly responded to questions/ concerns. We did have an issue upon check-in, but the owner resolved it quickly for us. Highly recommend for a family or small group. There are two bedrooms and some extra sleeping options."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! Plenty of bedrooms (and bathrooms) to spread out in, and lots of space inside for dining, hanging out, etc. So close to Perham and great dining and shopping as well. Though late in the season we enjoyed the hot tub and a fresh dip in the lake in the evening as well!"

"Nice layout for our group of five. Water toys were fun. Upstairs kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had essential spices. Clean and very tastefully decorated."

"We loved this little house on the lake while we were in the Detroits Lakes area hiking in 3 of the MN State Parks. The size and location of the house was perfect for us, and the furnishings were warm and inviting. From chilled bottled water in the refrigerator, to a sweet hadwritten note from the owners with the gift of a grilling mat, we felt like we were cared for as "family". Being able to walk out the backdoor down to the dock in the early morning with a cup of coffee and watch sunrise was fabulous! In the evening, we enjoyed watching loons diving for dinner while enjoying our dinner spot on the deck. Hubby decided to take a serendiptous dip in the lake which was CLEAN and refreshing! I hope we can return again this time next year, and take the kayaks out on the lake for exploration and enjoy the serenity that this property and location provide."

"My wife and I, I with our dog, just spent four nights at the White Dawn cabin. We had a wonderful stay. We were treated to a very peaceful get away. Our host, Katie, was extremely helpful with her detailed introductions on the check in process, directions, amenities and local information. She was responded to questions immediately and was overall helpful. The cabin is incredible. It has obviously been updated from top to bottom. Everything has been done very tastefully. Modern appliances, comfortable furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. We have stayed at many VRBOs. This was probably the cleanest. Outside is a gorgeous view of the lake. There are deck chairs, chairs on the ground and on the dock. On the deck is a large hot tub and gas grill. It is everything we were looking for. A final note is regarding accessibility at the property. As someone with balance issues, I really appreciated the ramp to the entrance and the many handholds in the bathroom. This provided added safety and ease of use. I commend Katie for adding these extras to the property."
