"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. "Loved the warmth of the property and the views! Although not for everyone, there are a a number of stairs from parking to the house that get a bit more treacherous with snow and ice, as well as the winding staircase within, this was still a great property. The kitchen was set up fully for cooking and the gas stove was certainly a big plus!!! We really enjoyed the living area, as well as the cozy and warm gas fireplace. "Had a great time at Stowe. This property made us feel at home and very comfortable. No issues whatsoever. We loved the fact that we could park our car in the garage. Especially because it snowed."
