"On arrival at Beach House hotel we were welcomed at Reception by Dave who was friendly and professional. The check in was easy and we were soon directed to our room. We were asked if we needed help with our bags but said we would be fine. Our room, on the first floor, was large, bright and spacious. I was not very pleased that there was no window only a skylight but in the end this wasn't a problem as the velux window opened and had a blind. The en-suite was large and had everything needed plus lovely white towels! Breakfast was self service for cereal/fruit/toast etc. with staff who were friendly and attentive. You could also order cooked items. The full Northumberland breakfast set us up for the day and was well cooked and presented. The scrambled egg on sourdough toast was good but the toast wasn't really toasted enough! I think the only thing that we were not happy about was the water pressure in the shower which was very low but we would definitely stay at the hotel again."

"We have stayed at these premises a number of times previously and have to say nothing has changed, still a lovely well set out cottage right in the centre of Wooler.Very clean and tidy, with everything you need for a short break or a longer stay. The host is very helpful and communicates well.If you book the cottage be sure to book the Italian in Wooler, it’s called Milan and it is very good, the best bit is it’s less than a 2 minute walk from the cottage!"

"We've just returned from a two night stay at Ednam House hotel. Its a hotel with a traditional feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a courtyard view. On the other side is the most magnificent river views. Breakfast was nice and staff extremely pleasant. Wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend to anyone considering a visit "
