"Enjoyed our stay at Gatekeepers. Very quiet, clean and perfect accomodation for our getaway enjoying the beautiful views across the valley. Loved sitting on the verandah whilst the bird life visited morning & evening and the horses reached out for a loving pat. I could watch the cattle grazing everyday (but then wait) adventure awaited in the faraway mountains with endless mountain streams running beneath the forest canopies a bushwalkers paradise. "House was great, location and four-legged friends were delightful! Hosts were lovely, but we had to rely on face-to-face contact as there’s no wifi or phone reception in the area, which would have been great to know ahead of time! On arrival we were short on a few essentials like hand soaps, body wash and extra toilet paper, but overall our stay was excellent! Thanks Nara!"

"I have stayed here at least 6 times and it truly is a jewel in the crown of SEQ. they are very reasonable in everything and honest about everything. A trusted safe and pleasant stay. 5 stars. The only downside is some of the facilities are a bit run down but I don’t mind as it makes it ultimately affordable. Well done to staff and all involved "

"Fantastic location. The kids had a good time feeding the chickens and pigs. We had breakfast one day with the fresh eggs from the chickens. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. As the kitchen and dining area are outside on the covered deck, it was a bit nippy in the morning getting breakfast. The lights outside on the deck and the bathroom window sill could do with a clean. "It was a great getaway. Downsides were the Spa didn't want to work (heated up but no bubbles), no Wifi that we only found out about after paying for the place (should be listed clearer), and the driveway was precariously steep for a gravel road. The great parts were that it was far more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Very peaceful, secluded, well looked after and had great amenities provided such as fire starters, torch, umbrella etc. "
