"The young couple who own this hotel have done a superb job of keeping the older infrastructure updated with modern furnishings and decor. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water and the A/C worked great! What more can you ask for? We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip along the Southeast Coast of Australia!"

"A historic hotel, amazingly & tastefully renovated. In the centre, a few steps from the bus & coach stop (for those not coming by car), within a walkable distance to a stunning beach and coastal lookouts. All members of the staff we met during our short stay were helpful, pleasant and professional, even those working 12 hrs shift - no weariness was shown in their interactions with guests. The manager waited for us to arrive very late, another staff member made sure we had something to eat on our early morning trip back home, as we missed on the continental breakfast. A range of ages & backgrounds are employed by the hotel, but each staff member provides equally exemplary customer service, making it quite an efficient hospitality industry team. We had a lovely stone baked vegetarian pizza & beer as a takeaway lunch and dinner at the restaurant, a local fish for seafood lovers, quinoa & veggies for vegans. The breakfast room is a delight to start morning at, including comfortable plush chairs, chandeliers, paintings, period features, high ceilings with ornate metal tiles, a lovely china, it also doubles as a restaurant for dinner. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with all the inclusions needed for a memorable stay. Suggestions: to fix the lock on the balcony door for added security, to provide slippers to the existing bathrobe, and to adjust a step leading to the toilet to prevent tripping over. We plan a dolphin&whale watching, staying at this hotel. "

"The property was a wonderful place to stay lovely and clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed in an elevated, two-bedroom villa, which was very comfortable and nicely appointed. We all enjoyed a very relaxing night's sleep, and breakfast on the balcony with the sound of waves crashing was delightful. Parking was located beneath the cabin, accessible via outside stairs. There wasn't much of a view, except for the cabin in front, but the location was just a short stroll to the beach. Note that when on the beach, every so often, a wave would come in much further than the others, so be careful with young children and any belongings you place on the sand. We received a very warm welcome upon checking in. We only stayed one night, so we didn't try the on-site restaurant, choosing instead to eat in Eden. A must-do is the Eden Killer Whale museum - highly recommended. "

"Convenient location. Clean and comfortable. Liked having the option of the pool and having the hotplates in the room so we could cook if we choose to. Had everything we needed for our 5 night stay including toiletries. Thanks for having us. "
