"Coast Resort is perhaps the best resort in Merimbula. Two pools, a tennis court and across the road from the main beach. Although on the far side of the lake to the main shopping strip, it's less than a 10 minute walk there but this also means there's far less traffic around the resort and there are a couple of cafes, one of which is around the corner and serves breakfast. The other is at the end of Fish Pen Rd at one of Merimbula's most scenic and tranquil spots where the ocean meets the lake. Given all the positives of Coast Resort, I can't really complain about the negatives which are minor maintenance issues but nothing to take away from the enjoyment of my stay. Staying in another apartment may have not had any issues at all. I highly recommend staying here."

"We stopped for one night on our road trip from Sydney to Melbourne. The property is perfectly geared for weddings, but worked well for our purpose. Charming, nice views from the balconies, modern rooms. Would not hesitate to recommend."

"We stayed at the Eden Gateway twice, on the way down and back to and from our daughter in Gippsland. The property is clean and spacious with a mix of static and mobile caravan and camping sites and a number of luxury cabins - which we used. A major benefit for us was that the site is pet friendly for our toy poodle. There is, however, a one off (per visit) charge for pets. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you need and was spacious with two rooms, double for mum n dad and bunks for up to 3 kids. There was plenty of room in the "family room" - but it might be a bit manic with those 3 kids. There's plenty of room and activities for the kids outside but, and the town and beach are a couple of minutes drive - you could walk it. In the town, there is a range of shops, including supermarket and restaurants to suit most tastes. "

"The unit my wife and I stayed in was very clean and very well equipped. A good bed and lots of room. Everything you could want was there. Maybe one negative was that the DVD player didn't have color but that was a minor point. The staff were friendly and the pool and water park were lots of fun."
