"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"the property is as the Vrbo description The beds were so comfortable. just to make people aware the property is not fully enclosed as if you have inquisitive dogs as mine are they can get into the wood at the side of the garden over a muddy stream then onto a road and leading to fields with livestock in. The garden is a wonderful size for doge to run around in and the outside hose is a great edition to wash down your pets as we had to do on many occasions. We were visited by a deer one morning...

"We had a great stay for my Dads 70th birthday. Lots of space for the price. We ranged from 7-70years old. 16 of us. They’re trying to make the outside space nicer which will be great when it’s completed. Comfy beds. Kitchen was great with a massive table for us all to sit round. Good value for money. "Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"Great outdoor space and Leisure outhouses but issue with gate not working. Swimming pool chemical balance was wrong ( badly stinging eyes ) and water felt cold ( to be fair was dealt with within 48hrs) The one and only tv doesn’t work regardless of instructions. No tv Ariel . Had to stream through a phone via wifi. Cinema room DVD works ok but Netflix not. 4 bedrooms share one shower room. Shower heads need cleaning and one shower bracket to hold it was loose so wouldn’t stay up. One wardrobe...

"We wanted to have a short family break and this property was ideal. Close to pubs, coffee shops and the castle, we could not have done better. The property has everything you need and full of charm. "
