"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."

However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. They apoligised and said hotels.com should have checked their diary and not booked any rooms out. They would be putting in a complaint via Expedia.
