"The hotel is in a great position, less than five minutes walk from Lynton centre, has fantastic sea views and also looks down over Lynmouth. It is also right beside the funicular railway and even has its own entrance by the top. Our room wasn't the biggest but it was comfortable and being twin aspect had great views. There is an honesty bar and interesting public areas. There was even an EV charging point in the hotel car park. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"We had an excellent stay. Nick greeted us on arrival. Everything that we needed was in our room and Nick was on hand to give recommendations for the area. The stunning Valley of Rocks was pretty much on the doorstep and the shops and restaurants were stone throw away. The cooked breakfast was lovely and it was a nice touch that we had a card and chocolates on our table as it was Easter Sunday. "

"Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . "I'd firstly like to thank Mrs Thomas for our stay, and admit that the cottage was very good value for money. However, we found the bathing facilities to be poor, being extremely cold and inhospitable. We did use the bathroom once, but would not use it again a second time. Again, I need to remind that the cottage is very good value for money. Perhaps, not for families with children."
