It has a central location near to both Windermere and Bowness yet high enough on a hill to have views of Lake Windermere from rooms and public spaces. "This us the 3rd time we have stayed. We are usually in an appartment in the hall itself and have always had a fantastic time. I was abit disappointed that we weren't staying in the hall this time but as it turned out we still had the best time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment and it was massive. Great hotel

"This is a wonderful hotel immaculate throughout. There is even a Bentley car to take you on local journeys ! Their Fusion restaurant is really nice. The spa is small with parts sadly not working but was being fixed. "
