"Revisited this place after 5 Years Always loved the position of it over looking the lake and still do, it’s beautiful! Majorly of staff weee friendly,, polite and helpful, however this wasn’t the case upon leaving when I had to make a complaint about the overnight stay.Instead of waking feeling refreshed , I felt tired and drained, ruining the rest of my day.The room was positioned directly facing a roundabout. Continuously loud noise from people standing outside talking, shouting and the noise from the traffic. The pillow was so big and hard it hurt my shoulder.upon waking, an absolute dreadful night. When I informed reception, the lady apologised that I didn’t get a good night sleep, . No offer at all of any form of compensation,.not even a voucher for a free drink as a gesture of goodwill, Not a happy customer at all. Mostly disappointed as this was one of our favourite places to stay in Oulton broad , as have a lot of sentimental memories there. Regards Mrs Loomes from Kings Lynn"
