"What an amazing hostel! Perfect location and lovely building, The panelled lounge full of lovely leather sofas, books and a roaring fire was particularly fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the beer was good and the full english veggie breakfast the ideal precursor to some stiff walking. "

"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible.
