Cobb was flexible with our dates, accommodating a later checkout due to the late start. Other challenges were thrown their way, such as the air conditioning breaking before our arrival, and then the power in the neighborhood going out again. Their solution, just before our arrival, was to upgrade us to a larger house with operable electrical and air...

"This property is fantastic! It is a cute lil’ 2/2, but that isn’t the draw… the draw is the direct, private beach access and the perfectly equipped deck. We sat on the deck for two days listening to the rhythmic sounds of the waves. We took the private path with an adorable bridge to the beach for walks. "

"I do love the distance from the beach in regards to walking. The downside would be there is no vehicle access close. Or at least I was not able to find any. Maybe add the nearest vehicle beach access to the listing "

"We enjoyed the location of the house, that was perfect! When we arrived, however, we were not hit with a 'WOW' factor at all... decor and conditions of some walls/ceiling/baseboards were in poor conditions, badly in need of paint touchups. The ceiling in the living room clearly shows water stains from previous leak, yet, it appears noone considered painting over the repairs, very unsightly to look at. The master bedroom has 1 picture (it appears that there used to be 2 but the remaining one...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The rental was close to a lot of great birding sites and we loved our ocean view each day. We especially appreciated the purple martin house in front of the rental. We were glad that we read other reviews that recommended buying groceries before arriving as groceries and restaurants are limited in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay at this budget friendly rental. The location is right on the beach and only a short drive to stores and restaurants. The Nauti Beaver Hut is a fun place to hang out with fun activities and good music on the weekends. Tia Juanita’s is a must for us when we stay in Bolivar! If you are bringing small dogs, the gate at the driveway has gaps they can get through, so I recommend bringing something to put in front of it. There are sticker burrs so wear shoes when walking through...

"This house was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and spacious and had room for everyone in our group! The house was very clean and well kept. The views were very relaxing and peaceful! Having the ocean right outside our front door was nice since we didn't have to load the kids in the vehicle and drive. Communication with the host was very responsive even before the trip started. I would recommend putting the pin location in your phone as the address does take you about 10miles...
