"We enjoyed our stay. It is a spacious place and a good location. We walked to the Mainz Fußball stadium for a game. We bought pastries at the gas station across the street in the mornings. We walked to the Mewe grocery store around the corner. Our only complaints were that there was no washing machine as listed, no WiFi or internet as listed, and no responses from host during our stay. "Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. "This property was just what we were looking for. The traditional farm house is well-built and well-maintained and the owners' eclectic sense of style was beautifully displayed throughout. The house is outfitted with everything you'll need for a restful and idyllic stay. Be aware that the beds are quite firm and we slept very well. "We had a short five day stay in July 2023. The property was very convenient and located in a lovely hamlet close to Woorsatdt, close to and easily accessible from the A61 and A63 Autobahns in a beautiful setting amongst vineyards. Our hostess made us very welcome and she was very helpful as we tried to communicate with very little German and English. There is lots to see and do. We have no hesitation in recommending this property."
