"It's a family hotel. Don't expect to check in before 5 pm. I had to wait for almost 2 hours and could get the key at about 17:15. Wifi only works downstairs in the restaurant and not in the room. Breakfast was at 9 am and included in my price. The room faces the street and the windows were permanently covered."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"
