"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and the shower controls were mindblowing; the only downside is the pillows/mattress aren’t too comfortable, but everything else about the property is fantastic. "Very clean, safe, 22 min walk to train station, easy check-in, they send you a one time code via e-mail, to enter and get your room key at the reception, easier check out, just to drop off the key in a box, mini fridge in room, private WC in room, shared shower, which I saw always available, cookies, 2 water bottles, liquid and mini bar hand soaps. Two water faucets, you need to decide to wash your hands, face and mouth with very hot or very cold water. Nothing in between. No sheet to cover,...
