"Excellent location next to river Dee and a ten-minute walk into Chester centre. Parking included. Lovely Grosvenor park at rear of hotel. Room basic but clean with hot shower and comfy bed. Included breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were polite and pleasant. Lovely riverside walk."

"We had an amazing stay here this weekend with our teenage children. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and very spacious. Food was great and service impeccable. Neil was so welcoming and helpful. "Downstairs great, restaurant, breakfast, bar, especially the service and welcime though. Uostaurs us tired, dribbly shower, radiators don't seem to work (there is an oil heater supplied), caroet a bit manky and old. Needs some investment to bring the place back. For the centre of Knutsford this was all quite a surprise... "

"The one night stay was perfect, no complaints at all, bed is a super king bed, very comfortable, bathroom is really nice as well. Overall worth a stay here even just for one night or however long you wish to. The staff were friendly at all times and made us feel welcome. Will come back again"

"The whole appearance of the hotel reflects its history. The room and bathroom was tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, i was able to store my bag after checkout until i was ready to catch the train. The dinner menu is limited hiwever thr food was tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and again tasty. I was able to get wifi in public areas but stuffled in my room, however i hasn't staying there for long. "

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Motel One

"Hotel was perfectly placed for Piccadilly station and the city centre. The hotel was very nice, well furnished in the public areas. The room was a good size for a single occupant. The room was clean and comfortable. Kettle was provided for tea and coffee. The breakfast provided was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming for a short stay in Manchester."
