The location, cleanliness, attention paid to small details (there was wine and frozen pizza waiting for us❤️), communication with the owner/host, even the fenced in back yard for the dogs, all was the best we’ve had thru VRBO (we’ve used Vrbo for several years). I cannot recommend this home highly enough. We definitely will be back!!!!"

"We enjoyed the house and the backyard. The steps leading up to the house could use repairs. I almost fell a couple of times. The next time we stay, I will bring my own pillows because the ones we had were very flat. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the quietness of the neighborhood."

"Great place to relax and fish! Fishing was great on the big pond located steps from house. Fishing from dock was enjoyable. We found it hard to access the other ponds for fishing due to grass/vegetation being grown up high around them. Enjoyed grilling on the deck in the evenings. Absolutely beautiful scenery."

"We had an excellent Thanksgiving stay in this quaint home right on the Mississippi river. The location couldn't have been better for us. The number of bedrooms, supplies in the kitchen, and activities for the kids inside the house were wonderful. Highly recommend this for any short or long journey to Iowa for a family or couples."

We stayed here with my 81 year old parents and I'm glad there was a downstairs bedroom because they would have struggled with the stairs to upstairs. My only concern for them was the sidewalk down to the house as it was narrow and a little uneven, but they did ok."
