"Bellwether is a lovely B&B in a great location. Some changes took place a few weeks ago and we found it not quite as unique as our first sat of two nights earlier this year. THE WONDERFUL BREAKFAST is now a decent continental offering instead with a wide variety of offerings. The afternoon tea has been pared down, the bar is nonexistent and the 6 pm wine and cheese hello hour also no longer exists. What was unique then is no longer. "My husband and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at Foley House Inn. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was surprisingly tasty. Our room, 102, was directly below the breakfast area, so we were awoken by the sound of foot traffic around 6:30am both mornings, which was immediately followed by the sounds of school children at the adjacent school, so there was no hope of going back to sleep. "I enjoyed the breakfasts, snacks and desserts. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had was being in the gentleman's parlor, you could hear everyone coming and goinv or in the parlor next door. There are quiet times posted, but no staff onsite from about 8:30pm -6:30am to enforce it. Other than the noise we loved our stay and all the people we met. "

"Old colonial house. Nice common areas and garden. Breakfast included was good but minimal. Assitionaly they had fruits cofee and tea in the living room. In the evening they had port and delicious fresh cookies. My room was a garden level room - most probably assigned to servants in the old days. Not my cup of tea. Small room, no dresser - had to hang my clothes in the bathroom, dirty windows, no way to open them for fresh air. Sheets and towels were nice and clean. Nice chandeliers too. Maybe I...
