"Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata area from now on, as the location is central and very convenient to hwy 101."

It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge.The space itself was beautifully designed, with a cozy and welcoming feel. It was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The layout made great use of the space, and I especially loved the attention to small details that made it feel special—like the soft lighting, plush bedding, and little extras the host provided.One of the highlights was sitting outside, taking in the peaceful views and enjoying the tranquility of the forest. Whether it was morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, the outdoor area was a slice of paradise.The host was fantastic—so friendly and attentive, with excellent communication throughout my stay. They made sure everything was perfect, and their local recommendations were spot on.If you’re looking for a cozy, nature-filled retreat, this VRBO is a must.
