"The staff was tremendous. But rooms small bathroom very small . I’m disabled and had difficulty with the shower asked for another room and they did furnish us with a larger room. Shower was still small but had better accessibility. But very slippery. "

"This is an older "Historic" hotel so it comes with that old vintage charm. The lobby, hallways, dining and lounge areas are clean and kept. The rooms although clean are somewhat worn, could benefit from some minor refurbishment. The views from my room were world class.I would recommend this hotel, however, the biggest disappointment was the construction that began at 6am in the room next door. "Comfortable stay & convenient location but if you’re a solo female walking back from the station to the hotel, the route can be a bit stressful as there are young folks on motorbikes with roaring engines near the university area. Extremely convenient though for the trains & buses & very near to the lake & town. Our room, unfortunately had a view of the trains & connecting bridge with pedestrian thoroughfare - no privacy unless the curtains are drawn. Surprisingly well insulated from the...
