"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."

"Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. "Julie's place was perfect for us. The location was great, walking distance to Lauterbrunen and beautiful views of the hills amd mountains. The condo is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. We enjoyed visiting Trummelbach Falls, Murren, Kleinschidigg and Grindlewald. We only had 3 days but wished we had stayed longer, there is so much beauty in this area. It was the highlight of our European trip. We would higly recommend this condo. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

Guy is extremely responsive, provided great directions to get to his apartment and included step-by-step instruction (including pictures) on how to get the key and get to the apartment - this is useful when you arrive at an unknown place for the first time. "Convenient to everything in Interlaken. Train station is next door so very easy to use public transportation. We had a car so we needed to have the private parking in rear of building. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building with several other apartment above. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bath, a kitchen, and a living room area with a dining table. Everything was spotlessly clean. Communication with host was great and access to apartment was easy."

"Fantastic location, great views of the Eiger. Very convenient location - close to Grindwald Grund railway station, and the main terminal for two gondola rides. The home itself was very nice, 3 bedrooms and lots of room for everyone. Nicely appointed kitchen and a sauna in the basement area.Lovely yard and back patio area offers a relaxed outdoor seating area. Loved our stay and would highly recommend."
