"The small house where we stayed was humble, clean, and nicely decorated with great books on the shelves. It was lovely to be by a pasture with wide skies and green rolling hills all around. At night we opened the windows to hear the peepers and farm animals quietly living alongside us. Margot and John were gracious hosts. We loved joining Margot for morning chores and meeting all the animals, especially the dogs. "

"This property was very clean and offered plenty of space, including two full bathrooms. The hot tub was also very clean, but the jets were not entirely functional. A few added amenities such as body wash, hair dryer, a box of facial tissues, and a place to hang clothes in the master bedroom would really up the game. Overall a good stay though."

"My husband and I stayed at Fern Haven as a calm getaway after the craziness of our wedding. This place was gorgeous and intimate, all the details made it so cozy and comfortable. We loved the view of the yard through the large windows, the warm fireplace, and clean kitchen where we cooked meals together. We are already chatting about coming back and staying here again when we need a break from city life and want to spend time gazing at the stars. Kevin is a fantastic host! We had a lovely time."

"This is our 2nd time staying at Bear Cabin. We love the land that it is situated on. We also love the no wifi and cell phone access. My only recommendation is to look up trails ahead of time and have a plan. We would drive to the local gas station down the road to load our gps. "
