"The town house is in a great location and has a cool vibe. It is an older unit, so be aware the windows rattle when windy and there wasnt an outlet by one of the beds upstairs. The sofa seat cushions were stained. The biggest negative is the two sides of the townhomes are connected by a door on the main floor and a door upstairs. Even though locked, that felt strange and we could hear a LOT from the other townhouse. Could hear talking, laughing, the TV, and people walking on the stairs. Also,...

"Home is exactly as pictured, cute home, beautifully remodeled. Close to plenty of walking, shopping, and dining. Owners were friendly and quick responders. Will stay again."

"This home was just as advertised! It was spacious, with room for our family of 4 to spread out. It was a nice quiet neighborhood, and we felt safe in the area. Communication with the owners was great, they were very responsive."

"This cottage is a great home away from home. Meticulously kept. The only thing you may need to be prepared for is the train whistle in the middle of the night. Not a big deal, but was alarming for someone that lives in a very quiet mountain area with little to no noise at night. "

"I was very impressed with how clean and well stocked the house was. Nicely decorated with comfortable furnishings . The historic district of St. Charles boasts old world charm and the house is right in the heart of it all.. Rooms/spaces were large and the layout allowed for plenty of space for our group to spread out. The owner was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. "

We stayed for part of our spring break trip and chose this home because its big enough for us and all of our kids, its in a great neighborbood we were familiar with and its close proximity to activities like the zoo and city museum. The 4 bedrooms are spread out on two floors, as this is 2 apartments that you bave full access to. Its an older house and charming.A few things kept this from being perfect.
