"Very cosy warm room, comfy bed, very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast great,the chef went that extra bit by cooking fried eggs every morning as soon as I walked into the restaurant, very much appreciated. Good selection of food and served hot. Room facilities could be better.the mattress was too small for the base. "The restaurant food was great and fresh. The staff are great and helpful and we always enjoy staying, the gym/pool experience was a little disappointing with no towels because the attendant had to stay to monitor children. We had to then go get room towels and didn’t feel like great service, the last time we stayed there were also problems with the pool. also the room temperature was freezing and not changeable."

"It was amazing we traveled up as I had an England camp and it fell onto my partners birthday weekend we were met with an assortment of cakes to celebrate my partners birthday with a lovely hand written message from the team. "I enjoyed an excellent solo stay during a BRSCC race weekend, with a superb balcony view of Hamilton Straight. Everything was modern and clean and I felt like royalty! Very comfortable bed, well-designed room with A/C and nice shower too. Easy parking in the newly finished car park, and it's ideal being just a couple of mins from Silverstone entrance. The 24/7 ground floor snack shop by reception is a life saver, and there's a starbucks coffee too which was nice to start my morning off...

"We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and large enough for three with a lovely view over the golf course and a little table and chairs to sit outside. The pool was warm ! So rare these days so enjoyed using that , staff all very friendly and helpful . We had a pizza and a couple of yummy cocktails on the bar all great ."

"Lovely hotel by river walks and close to Bedford market. Excellent evening meal with plenty of servers. Didnt try spa. Forgot comb or brush and disappointed that hotel stocked no emergency supplies such as Toothbrush or comb for ocasional disorganised customers. The hotel over the river sorted me out as shops in walking distance were closed."

"Marriot centrally located near shopping centre. Easy to find coming off motorway. Good location and ample parking, charged per night for parking. Rooms are clean and have all the essential amenities. Thought there would be robes as this was advertised online. Great breakfast selection, cooked well and decent temperature. Overall an enjoyable stay, would return."

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"We have stayed here a few times and have always found the staff friendly and efficient. Cleanliness and bedrooms have always been very good. However, we were a little disappointed with the breakfast this visit as the food items were not very warm and the plates were cold. The taste was good, but would have been nicer had they been hotter. "

"Overall not too bad a place to stay. Rooms clean and tidy, maybe a little outdated and a bit worn around the edges, but fine for an overnight stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good value, lots of choice. Outside functional, a little plain but whats expected when situated next to a main road. If in a room like we were near to the road, is a bit noisy but did ease a little as night went on. Be aware, you will need to pay parking, we paid £6 for 24 hours."

"Love this hotel and have been staying annually for many years. I had concerns now that it has been taken over by Mecure, but it was very much the same, and it was lovely to see the same staff there as previously, including the very lovely Lindsey."
