"Positives first, we had a family wedding near by and were allowed to check into the room at1pm instead of 4.30pm which was greatly appreciated. There is ample free on site parking and the building from the outside looks very nice.However the property is very dated and in desperate need of renovation."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Cliffe. Food was amazing and we were lucky enough to be there when there was live jazz playing. Very dog friendly too. Comfortable, clean rooms, reasonable prices. Our only criticism was that our room was directly above the exhaust fans from the kitchen; even though they weren't too noisy and did stop when the kitchen closed, there was quite a heavy food smell in our room when we had the windows open. "I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "
