"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. "We had an amazing time at Claire and Kelly’s place. Plenty of room for 8 people and at least 4 more. House was nice and pier was great. My son brought his boat and stayed from Sunday-Sunday. Pretty much had the river to ourselves other than a few other boats."

"Great day trip to fish although the fish weren’t biting. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday with a small group. It was perfect place for storing and serving food. Had the feel of a full size home. Lots of space outside. The deck was a lovely space to sit and socialize, with good shade."

"We had a great weekend in False River! For most of us, it was our first experience at an LSU game and needed a good place/location for the game. Ma Mamma’s is a great place for evening meal. Great food and perfect place to take a big group or just your special someone. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything and more for our group. I would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Great communication by the owner too!!"
