"Parking was difficult, bedrooms tired but adequate as we only stayed one night, no kettle for tea or coffee. Restaurant was basic but the staff were very friendly and spoke English. Périgueux was a very nice picturesque place to visit."

Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. "We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house . The grounds are huge and full of surprises . We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but gave the sauna a miss! There are plenty of lovely places to visit in the area and although the house is up a quiet forested hill it is not remote and has all the shops you need within a 10 min drive. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful All together a great stay."
