"Great, well decorated rooms with a decent size TV, comfortable bed and powerful shower. I had a double aspect room with lovely views along the streets. Evening food was fairly basic, but reasonably priced and good quality, as was breakfast. The multi level dining area/bar is really well presented with a large central staircase and outside seating is also good. Overall a very good stay."

"Hotel was great, although currently undergoing a refit in the bar & restaurant, service was very attentive. Parking is an issue as car park was full but there is a larger public car park, £13 per 24hrs, would be nice if, as a hotel resident they would off set this as the hotel car park is so small and can only fit 6-7 cars, so that would have been a nice gesture as a guest. food was great, but very small portions, I ordered the king scallops for starters only to have two scallops which was really disappointing, especially for the price!! overall a let down by the food, the service was great just a shame the portions were so small for the price you are expected to pay. "
