"2nd time we have stayed at the Royal. This time was a great improvement, stayed in a brand newly refurbished room, 1st class accommodation, close to the town centre for pubs restaurants and entertainment. Definitely will be back again highly recommended."

Whitby was a charming town. It was one of our favorite places. We got up before sunrise one morning and walk up to the Abby. Even though it was not open yet. We walked around the outer walls and watched the sun come up over the water.

Whitby is a must see destination and we visit every year around Sept/Oct. We have stayed in several B&B's and Hotels and the best was No 7 on The Crescent. We will not stay at The White Horse and Griffin again.
