The Space:
Light floods the kitchen, living and dining area from the tall bay windows which showcase views of the beautiful Pannett Park across the road. The perfect place to unwind, you can relax on the sofa and watch the flat screen Smart TV or cosy up in one enjoy a hearty meal whilst watching the world go by at the dining table.
Ultra stylish, the kitchen features modern hardware and all the appliances you need. With everything you could need to prepare meals easily, you can really make the most of your self-catering stay.
With a neutral colour scheme mixed in with soft shades of green and beige, the bedroom is a tranquil space. A king size bed, a flat screen TV, drawers, hanging space, and a wall mirror complete the space.
A sofa bed can also be made up upon request at Sandpiper Apartment, increasing the occupancy to four.
The bathroom includes a walk in shower, WC and wash basin for your convenience.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to Sandpiper Apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
On-site parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Free on-street parking is also available nearby, details of which will be provided prior to your stay.

The Neighborhood:
Set on the West side of Whitby, Sandpiper Apartment is located a short walk from the centre of town so you can expect a fabulous central location.
Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.
Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short walk from Sandpiper Apartment.
Whitby train station is just down the road so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
