"A great guest house in the heart of Ambleside with secure parking a two minute walk away. Room was excellent, very well decorated ad fitted out. ON-suite was good and the shower was super powerful. Tracey and Kevin were great, super friendly and breakfasst was top notch, loved the big fat cumberland sausage and the poached eggs were excellent. Would highly reccomend."

"Just back from a lovely overnight stay at Jericho’s. The location of the accommodation was fabulous and so central to the village and a leisurely walk to Bowness on Windermere. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and we were called by phone on the day of arrival to say our room was ready which was such a lovely touch. A member of our party was staying in another hotel but the owners of the Wanslea were kind enough to accommodate him for breakfast. "Lovely stay in the dog friendly deluxe room. Very comfortable, clean and well decorated room. The room has it's own parking space and is only about 10 minutes walk down to the centre of Bowness. Hosts are very friendly but leave you to enjoy the room in peace with the proviso that they are only a message away should you need anything. They are happy to provide any information on the local area required. They even provide dog bed, bowls and towel though we had brought our own. We will definitely...
