Outpost is a Whistler-based vacation rental company offering a unique selection of properties throughout Whistler.

PLEASE NOTE: The pool and one of the hot tubs will be shut down from Monday September 16 to Tuesday October 1 2024 to do some maintenance and repairs. The two hot tubs outside the gym will still be open during this time.

ABOUT THE HOME
This spacious one bedroom, one bathroom condo offers the best ski-in/Ski-out access to Blackcomb Mountain, with beautiful patio views of the Upper Village and the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The master bedroom features a king bed with en-suite and there is a pull out sofa in the living room. Shared laundry is available in the complex as well as a complimentary Ski & Snowboard storage.

COMPLEX: THE ASPENS
The Aspens is an updated lodge-style building, nestled slope-side on Blackcomb Mountain with ski-in/ski-out convenience. Features include gorgeous mountain views from the outdoor heated pool, three hot tubs as well as a fitness center. Guests are within walking distance of both, the base of Blackcomb Mountain and Whistler Village. A highly desirable location.

LOCATION
Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, the Upper Village offers seclusion while still being just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village. With a slope-side setting, these lodging options will have you on the slopes (or the first tee of the Chateau Whistler Golf Course) in minutes. The Upper Village is a great option for families offering easy ski-in/ski-out access and a free shuttle to and from the Village. In the summer enjoy quick access to Lost Lake Park as well as a weekly outdoor Farmers Market.

Parking is available at C$26/day in a secure, heated, underground parking lot. Height restrictions may apply.

THINGS TO KNOW
- This townhouse does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area.
- Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request.
- Ski-in, ski-out ability depends on the snow levels and lift operations. You can typically ski-in and out between mid - December and end of March. You can call our reservation agents a few days before your arrival to get an update on current conditions.

HOUSE RULES
No smoking, no pets, no parties, no bikes permitted inside units, minimum booking age of 25. Base occupancy is 2 adults and max occupancy is 4 adults. The third and the fourth adult pay C$35 per night per person. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge.

The place was clean and organized. We enjoyed the proximity to the slopes. The care package that was provided was really nice, loved the coffee. Responses to questions were super quick and helpful. The toilet needed repairing but we notified the team and they were willing to come fix it, turns out we didn’t need to.

The condo is really in a great location for ski in-out. Less than a 15 min. walk to Whistler village where all the restaurants, shops and groceries are. For the most part, our condo was great. The toilet needs to be reset, it wobbles horribly (sounds crazy, I know). Also one of the hot tubs jets doesn't work, a minor problem but one thing most skiers like to do after being on the slopes all day. Overall though, really nice, will definitely return.

The Aspens is a great place to stay to enjoy Whistler. It is located slope side just up the hill from the Blackcomb gondola. Between the ski-in/ski-out location and excellent free bus service to Whistler village, we didn't need to move the car the entire time. The unit itself is very pleasant and comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The property manager was easy to contact and responded quickly when needed. We would stay there again.

The property was fine, had to spend extra on the underground parking which i thought was included with the stay. Wasnt willing to spend the extra money sleeping on the fold out couch, so i brought my own air mattress. We had to leave after the first night of our stay because the torrential rains were making the mountain unskiable

We enjoyed staying in this unit; the view is spectacular & we were comfortable. The Ski In Ski Out is an important attribute for us. Be mindful of Spring schedule changes in Blackcomb lift operations & bus schedules. We were surprised that while Blackcomb was open & Whistler was closed, no lifts were open on Blackcomb to access the mountain, which required either hauling skis or taking a bus to Whistler Village. It’s my understanding that this was a surprise to most, including The Aspens. The communication from Vail Resorts was an epic fail.

The property was clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The property management company was also very good. I spent a lot of time finding an available unit with a balcony and views of the mountains so I was grateful there was no switch to a different unit as some management companies do. The only thing that would detract from a 5* rating on this for me was the mattress was not the best quality. Also note for summer rentals there is no A/C.

If the guests don't cook in the unit, there are no complaints... 5 star. The location of Aspens and the unit within Aspens is fantastic. Views of the lift lines and afternoon/evening sun makes it magical. Loved the layout of the unit as well. My issues were with the appliances and dishes. They were cheap and broke or chipped easily. The toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher were very cheap and need updating. Like I said, if you cooked every day, this was 4 star, if you just put beer in the fridge and eat out every night, 5 star!
