Nicklaus North is a community of homes centered around the Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course. Nestled on the south end of Green Lake, this tranquil, private neighborhood boasts majestic lake and glacial mountain views. Nicklaus North is the first golf course to which Jack Nicklaus gave his namesake; presumably, because it was designed with such reverence for the natural environment nestled between Green Lake and the River of Golden Dreams.
This spacious chalet offers 3,400 sq ft spread out over two levels. Upper and lower living room/family room make this home perfect for multi-family vacations. Four of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms; also making the chalet optimal for multi-couple trips, family reunions, ski groups, girls' weekend/guys golf trips, corporate retreats, masterminds, etc.
The convenient location is an easy 5-min drive to the base of the mountain, or catch transit that picks up and drops off right outside the development. Living:
You’ll love the exposed wood, rustic décor, hardwood floors, large windows, and vaulted ceilings. Comfortable and welcoming, the main floor features a great room with a large, stone, wood-burning fireplace, and several comfortable sofas and oversized armchairs. Details such as a rough-hewn log-pine fireplace mantle and sturdy knotty pine furniture give this chalet an authentic, log-cabin ambiance. After a day on the slopes, come home for hot cocoa and enjoy time with loved ones around a crackling hearth fire.
In addition to this main floor living area, the lower level of this two-story home has a cozy family room with wall-to-wall carpeting, a built-in entertainment center with TV, plush loveseats, and oversized arm chairs the color of mountain lupines. This is a great spot to cozy up for family movie night.
Kitchen/Dining:
The bright and sunny open-design kitchen has a wall of windows overlooking the green boughs of a pine forest. Enjoy polished hardwood floors, French cream color fine cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a large fridge, gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and double basin sink. The large kitchen island has granite countertops, a bar sink, and breakfast bar with stool seating for three below stylish, minimalist pendant lights. Perfect spot to sip your morning late!
There’s plenty of space in this chef’s kitchen to prepare home-cooked meals that will nourish your whole group with local cuisine. For breakfast, whip up pancakes with pure Canadian maple syrup and peameal bacon. Pack picnic sandwiches for lunch on the slopes. For dinner, bake a Tourtiere, or grill some fresh veggies from the Whistler Farmers Market, as well as salmon and arctic char fish. Sliding glass doors off the kitchen open out to a deck with a large, gas BBQ grill.
Just off the living room is a farmhouse-style pine dining table with seating for eight below a rustic wrought-iron chandelier. Gather for family-style meals and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Bedrooms/Bathrooms:
This spacious chalet has five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms have ensuite full bathrooms. (The bedroom with bunk beds does not have an ensuite bath, but next to this bunk bedroom is a half bath.) This chalet sleeps eleven guests total. Bedrooms all have wall-to-wall carpeting and are furnished with luxurious mattresses, sumptuous linens and bedding. Ensuite bathrooms have plush towels, toiletries, hairdryers, etc.
Primary Suite: Main (upper) floor. The Primary Suite has a King bed with a beautiful hardwood headboard, matching nightstands with elegant, adjustable reading lamps, a bureau, and oversize armchair. This large primary suite has a vaulted ceiling, a wrought iron chandelier, and plenty of sunlight from windows and sliding glass doors that open out to a private balcony with forest and golf-course views. The large ensuite bathroom has an oversize soaking tub, walk-in, glass door shower, and double-sink vanity with plenty of cabinet space.
Bunk Bedroom: Main (upper) floor. The children’s bunk bedroom is just down the hall from the primary suite. The bunk bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with ladder, a bureau, nightstand, and beautiful window views of the pine forest.
Guest Bedroom #3: Lower level floor (downstairs). Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed, matching nightstands with reading lamps, and a large walk-in closet with mirror doors. Bedroom #3 has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in, glass door shower, a separate tub, and a single-sink vanity with plenty of cabinet space.
Guest Bedroom #4: Lower level floor (downstairs). Bedroom #4 has a Queen bed with a wrought iron frame, matching nightstands with reading lamps, a bureau, and window views of lush pine forest.
Guest Bedroom #5: Lower level floor (downstairs) Bedroom #5 has a Full-size four-poster bed, matching nightstands with reading lamps, a chair, and widow views of pine forests.
Outdoor Amenities:
Out on the large deck, breathe in the pristine mountain air. You’ll savor views overlooking the gorgeous golf course and pine forests. Relax on Adirondack chairs to enjoy starry evening skies. The chalet backs up to Fairway #14, but the property also has a buffer of dense pine forest. Plenty of privacy and serenity here.
The lower deck has a covered sitting area, as well as a bubbling hot, six-seat hot tub. After a summer day golfing, or a winter day on the slopes, relax at night with a dip in this soothing hot tub. The alpine fragrance of spruce, cedar, and ponderosa will restore your spirit. The music of mountain wind whistling in the pines will lull you to sleep.

The closest major airport is Vancouver International (YVR), approximately a 2.5 hours drive to Whistler. We're also within 5 hour's drive time of Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) and 3 hours from Bellingham International Airport (BLI) in Washington, USA which gives you lots of options in flights.
