"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. "

"This was by far the most neglected and dirtiest property we ever rented as a holiday accommodation. The carpet was full of hair, the entrance area had lot's of spider webs. Dishes and cutlery had to be washed before we could use them. Totally unacceptable."

"We had a fantastic time. The host is an excellent communicator and responded to any questions relatively quickly. The only time there was any delay was when they were waiting to hear from other parties (e.g., cleaners). The house was well supplied and had magical views. St Omer Bay was nice walk from the house and a lovely beach to spend the day at. Hope to return another time."

"A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. "Had a lovely family holiday here. Property is well-equipped, with plenty of food storage space, and flexibility around sleeping arrangements. Peaceful surroundings, and really easy to pop down to the water. Kayaks were fantastic for us"

"The stay at Eliza’s cottage was a whimsical experience from the beautiful garden to the home made breakfast breads and jams our host our did herself. Our kids also loved a splash in the pool in the afternoons and picking lemons off the many fruit trees in the garden. What a beautiful place to stay while enjoying the lovely wine region of NZ. "
