"Well-stocked kitchen, towels and cleaning supplies. Hostess seemed to go the extra mile to help us feel welcomed with water, soda, coffee options and candy. Just slight confusion and panic on our part when they had our arrival date not until the next day, but it was remedied and all was well. "

We loved the front screen porch and back yard grill and fireplace too. Tom is an excellent host and checked in periodically to make sure we had d everything we needed. "Had a great time at Ms. Linnie’s place! She was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house was clean and comfortable, and I loved that there were 2 full bathrooms! I was a little nervous about the neighborhood as we were definitely looked at as outsiders, but no one bothered us and we walked to Maxwell Street Polish and back just fine (which is fantastic, btw). I did love the gated yard in back with two parking spots, so we had our own space. Would definitely stay again!"

"We loved having dedicated parking and the old farmhouse worked perfect for our group. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it was easy to get to the sightseeing we wanted to do, the house was clean, check in and out were super easy, host was VERY easy to communicate with and provided great information very quickly! Everything was clean and we had all we needed and beds were comfortable. Really great for our group!"

Location was super convenient and we felt right at home. My only recommendation would be to make the shower hotter. You will definitely enjoy this property. It’s a must stay near Chicago!"
