It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent. "Great for our party of 13 as there was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment ,plates and glasses etc. Some of the rooms and areas look a bit tired and could do with an upgrade (stair carpets, walls painting and floors could be cleaner downstairs) but bathrooms clean and beds comfy. it’s also great to have the farm shop and the pub next door is great - very friendly and helpful and lovely pub meal and service."

"The property was clean, stylish and comfortable. It is located in the highly convenient area where you can easily access Aldi, Waitrose, asian supermarket and everyone's favourite the Moor market! I love that there are lots of bedrooms that we can use for different purposes. If you use the floor heating in the dining kitchen in addition to the main heating, you can stay warm. The host was always friendly and eager to help guests."

"Property was very well equipped and organised. It was clean and had everyting we needed for our stay. The best bit for us was the proximity to Ponds Forge - my daughter was competing there and having a house and being able to cook is so much better than being in a hotel room for the week."

"Took our family for 50th wedding anniversary. Stayed a week. Nobody wanted to leave. Incredible, amazing, wonderful, fantastic! Wanted for nothing as it was so well equipped. The pool was gorgeous, pool table constantly in use, games galore to play and super hot tub and sauna. What more can one say. A truly superb week! A huge thankyou to the hosts."
