"It’s a nice place but not as cozy as we would have liked. It could use some area rugs and comfortable seating. Appreciated the extra blankets as it was cold. We were provided 1.5 small rolls of toilet paper and ran out during our two day stay. Also the 15 euro charge for sheets and towels was exorbitant considering the towels were rough and cheap. For that price would have loved nice fluffy towels and high thread count sheets. "

"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. Great outdoor space, with barbecue, table and chairs, loungers and, of course the view. Jean- Pierre speaks very good English and lives above the apartment. He is very helpful but not intrusive. "Nous avons passé 1 semaine de vacances dans cet appartement avec mon conjoint et c'était super. On peut tout faire à pied. Appartement très bien chauffé et agencé. Très lumineux avec une vue dégagée. Faire attention au linge de lit car ce n'est pas un lit standard mais il est très confortable et grand. Prévoir également torchons, serviettes, tapis de douches...Heureusement il n'y a pas eu de neige à Gérardmer car l'accès en voiture aurait été compliqué pour accéder au parking en hauteur derrière...
