"If you want to get away from the world and have your own land with your own lake this is your place. The scenery and location of this house is EXACTLY what we needed. The small local town near by couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. The owner of the VRBO went above and beyond for us and made us feel totally at home. I would go back there today if I could. "This home was very peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, there's a wood stove with wood on the back porch, and overall everything was really pleasant. I would only caution people who are sensitive to fragrance to perhaps skip this one. With best intentions, there were several products used to create a pleasant atmosphere but the combined effect was overwhelming. Host was accessible, friendly and accommodating. "

"This was great for a getaway. We have family that live in the area and a couple of us live out of state. Normally when we get together it seems like there are always other distractions. This property has plenty of room so we could all gather at this property and enjoy each other's company without the distractions from ordinary life. "I stayed here to attend a Bridgerton Ball at the Senators Mansion. The place was easy to find, host responsive, clean, and absolutely adorable with its time era design/decor. I felt safe in the neighborhood. There was easy parking and entrance access. Lots of wonderful amenities. I would highly recommend!!"

"amazing property. No cell service. They have wifi. If you've never visited before, I recommend arriving before they close. if you can't arrive before 5pm, I recommend you confirm exact directions to where you are staying. The directions given are to the general property and the property is really big. So unless you know exactly where you are going, you will get lost. Don't be like me and make certain you know exactly where on the property you will be staying. It is worth it. "

"Needs to be a lot cleaner, TV system needs upgraded, shower needs a grab bar or something?? Cost is too high! You should provide at least a bottle of wine for the cost. It is a beautiful area that deserves better. There's no TLC and it shows!"
