"Shawn, in the main office, checked us in and was very welcoming and courteous. He gave us easy directions to our cabin for the night and was very thorough with our checkout procedures. The room was very warm and cozy and we had a great night’s sleep after a long day of travel. I’m not sure if they keep the Christmas lights on year round but it definitely felt like a winter wonderland with the pretty lights and snow on the ground. "This is our third time staying at Glacier Homestead. I stayed in a hostel room, then the family has stayed at the Barn Loft and Pioneer Cabin. All of them have been great, roomy, clean, and most importantly, quiet! "

"Everything was good except: the bed frame is square and solid. The mattress is curved. I twice hit my shin on the corner. The second time I broke the skin and had blood dripping down my leg and onto the floor. I suggest that you put a padded cover over the corners at the foot of the bed."
