"This property is a real back to basics. We've been to lovely hotels and B&Bs but this stay gave us the true rest we were looking for. We were met by Tom, who is a true gentleman, he showed us around and had baked fresh bread for us with butter, milk and breakfast waiting. No oven or cooktop but the bbq was adequate. Chooks visited each day and the paddocks, with the cows in, were only metres from the French doors. Not for everyone but it rejuvenated our souls. We are going back to stay again....

"Really impressed, and loved it. Everything was perfect, nice touches added, cottage feel, but modern kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor table, chairs and umbrella out the back so provides great privacy for sitting outside. I plan to stay again. "

"This place was amazing! We had been quite busy travelling around and seeing the sights of NZ and really needed a little time to recharge and relax and this was the perfect place to do it! Such a pretty cottage with everything we needed. Loved sitting outside listening to the birds and enjoying the seclusion. Great place and the host was so helpful and considerate. "This was such a lovely place to stay. It's homely, super cute, with many retro touches and wonderful hosts. Breakfast supplies include freshly baked bread. There are three friendly dogs who are just delightful. Even though it's close to Greytown, you really feel like you're in the country. I highly recommend this as a place to stay. "
